How it plays
Numbers wait above the board
Each number is an area. A 6 can be a 2×3, a 3×2, a 1×6 or a 6×1.
Place each one where it fits
Drag a number onto the board, hold still for a moment, then stretch it into a rectangle of exactly that size and let go.
Fill a row or column to clear it
Chain clears for bigger scores. The run ends when none of the numbers left will fit.
Three ways to play
Boxd
Numbers wait in a tray of three. Place each one anywhere as a rectangle of its size.
Frame
Numbers land on the board. Drag a rectangle around one, with the same area as the number.
Countdown
Like Frame, but every number counts down with each move. At zero it sets into stone.
Good to know
- One thumb, no tutorial. The board sits low on the screen, and if you pause at the start a ghost shows you a first move.
- Fair deals. Boxd and Frame only deal numbers that can all be placed, so a run ends because of your choices, not a bad hand.
- Free, with ads. Ads appear between games, never during one. When a run ends you can choose to watch one for a Second chance. There are no purchases, no subscriptions and no accounts.
- Your scores stay on your device. The Privacy Policy says what the ads collect and how to change your choices.
- Light and dark, with sound and haptics. Boxd follows your Reduce Motion setting.
